Aamir Khan to Headline Indian Film Festival of Melbourne; New Film 'Sitaare Zameen Par' to Feature

Aamir Khan, the Bollywood icon, is slated to attend the 16th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) this August as the chief guest. This year, the festival will celebrate Indian cinema on a global stage and showcase Aamir Khan's outstanding contributions to the film industry.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, scheduled from August 14th to 24th, 2025, promises a vibrant program featuring film screenings, panel discussions, masterclasses, and various cultural events. The festival aims to unite filmmakers, actors, and fans worldwide to celebrate the enchanting world of Indian cinema.

Expressing his gratitude for the invitation, Aamir Khan stated, "I'm humbled and thrilled to be a part of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. The festival will revisit iconic moments that have defined his illustrious career, from timeless classics to socially conscious dramas.
