Stars Reveal Academic Backgrounds: Sara Ali Khan's Studious Past, Fatima Sana Shaikh's 12th Grade Struggles, and Anupam Kher's Modest Scores
The cast of the upcoming film 'Metro In Dino' recently reunited on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show,' delivering laughter and lighthearted moments. An unaired clip from the show unveiled some surprising academic revelations from the stars.
Kapil Sharma initiated the discussion by inquiring about Sara Ali Khan's pre-film life. "I was studying," she responded, "I’ve studied history, political science… I’ve studied a lot.”
Fatima Sana Shaikh praised Sara's academic diligence. However, she was candid about her own school experience. "I dropped out after failing 12th standard. I used to fail a lot. I got 55 percent in 12th.”
Adding to the confessions, veteran actor Anupam Kher admitted, "I scored 38 percent in 12th." Kapil Sharma chimed in, sharing, "I got 44 percent." Kher humorously remarked to the audience, "Despite this, here we are sitting on this stage."
Kapil playfully teased Sara about her fondness for mountain retreats and spiritual journeys, joking, “She loves mountains so much that as soon as shooting ends, she goes off to climb one. She only came down for my show. Do you go to the mountains to look for a husband?” Sara retorted, “If that were true, there would be a queue of boys waiting for me.”
The conversation shifted to director Anurag Basu's unique on-set approach. Kapil joked about Basu's habit of distributing dialogues at the last minute, asking, "Is your printer not working?"
Aditya Roy Kapur added, "There’s no pressure on his set because you don’t really know what you’re doing. If the work turns out badly, it’s his fault.”
'Metro… In Dino' is scheduled to release in theaters on July 4.
